About Dr. Parisa Refaat
Dr. Parisa Refaat, PT, DPT, CLT, is the owner of Belmont Shore Physical Therapy since 2008. Dr. Refaat received her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from NOVA Southeastern University in 2007 and her Master’s degree from Howard University in 2001. She is practicing more than 15 years in different outpatient clinics with various patient populations at any ages.
Dr. Refaat is specialized in Lymphedema management, Geriatrics and orthopedic disorders. She is an active clinical instructor since 2011 and working closely with CSULB and USC, Department of Physical Therapy.
Her mission as a provider is to provide patients with individualized treatment in a pleasant and safe environment. She is passionate about helping people to move in pain-free pattern with an optimum life style.
Dr. Refaat is dedicated to creating that atmosphere through her supportive husband and the employment of staff that represents her commitment to the patient and their physicians.
Her hobbies include hiking, cooking, yoga and gardening.
Dr. Refaat is an active member of American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), California chapter.
